Kittmatic
End-to-end development of Dopamy, a productivity app that evolved from an offline experience into a collaborative platform.
Turning an idea into a shipped product
Kittmatic first contacted EZish Solutions in 2022 to evaluate an idea for a new mobile application. Although those early conversations did not result in a product, the relationship continued.
In 2024, Kittmatic returned with a new concept: Dopamy.
The product combined the best parts of a habit tracker, a to-do list, and a chore manager into a single experience. Its guiding message was:
Monitor routines, habits, trends, and other activities.
Starting with a strong foundation
Kittmatic arrived with a complete Product Requirements Document (PRD) and polished design mockups. Because the product vision was already well defined, we were able to move directly into implementation.
Within a few months we had produced the first release candidate.
Improving the product before launch
During release-readiness discussions, Kittmatic decided to invest further in the user experience. Working with our in-house designer, we refined the application’s visual design while also expanding its technical capabilities.
Originally, Dopamy was designed as an offline-only application. We used this opportunity to introduce a lightweight backend that allowed tracked items to be shared with family members and housemates, turning the application into a collaborative experience.
Launch and continued partnership
Dopamy launched in October 2024.
EZish Solutions continued working with Kittmatic into 2025, delivering new features, improving stability, and addressing bugs as the product matured.
After our engagement concluded, Kittmatic continued developing the application independently. Although the client ultimately chose to remove Dopamy from the App Store, the project remains a strong example of taking an idea from concept through launch and post-release iteration.
